1. Introduction
Welcome to StoneBridgeWorks ("we," "our," or "us"). The following Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are applicable to your use of our yacht charter services and our website at stonebridgeworks.sbs ("the Service") offered by StoneBridgeWorks.
By securing a charter or utilizing our Service, you consent to be bound by these Terms. Should there be any aspect of these terms you reject, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Overview
StoneBridgeWorks offers a range of exceptional yacht charter services, which include, among others:
- Daily yacht hires
- Evening boat tours
- Business retreats
- Exclusive celebrations
- Extended yacht voyages
We commit to service availability, although we reserve the right to change or halt offerings at any time without prior notice.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
When booking a yacht, you must:
- Be of 18 years or above
- Provide true and comprehensive personal details
- Make payment for the stipulated deposit as detailed in the booking acknowledgment
- Accept these Terms & Conditions in full
3.2 Confirmation
Reservations are regarded as confirmed once your payment is processed and we issue a formal acknowledgment. We retain the sole discretion to decline service provision to any client.
3.3 Availability
Charters are subject to availability of the vessels and favorable weather conditions. We will endeavor to adhere to your requested dates and scheduling.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
The rates are quoted in £ and encompass any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Our prices are subject to modifications without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Initial payment: 50% of the entire cost of the charter is due upon making a reservation
- Final payment: The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure
- Extra costs (if applicable): To be settled after the charter
4.3 Payment Methods
Payments can be made through major credit cards, electronic transfers, and certified checks. We utilize secure, encrypted channels for payment processing.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- If canceled more than 72 hours before departure: A full refund minus service fees
- Between 24 to 72 hours before departure: A 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure: Nonrefundable
5.2 Weather Cancellations
Should our captain assess weather conditions as unsafe, we will propose either to:
- Reschedule the charter to another open date free of extra charge
- Issue a complete refund if rescheduling is not an option
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In the event your designated yacht encounters mechanical failures, we will strive to provide an appropriate replacement. If an alternative yacht is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All individuals on board must:
- Comply with all directives from the crew
- Make use of the safety equipment as necessary
- Disclose any medical conditions that could affect their security
- Stay within the safe areas as marked on the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
The items listed below are prohibited on the vessel:
- Glassware
- Illicit substances
- Weapons of any kind
- Excess beverages (beyond a reasonable amount for personal consumption)
- Animals (unless previously sanctioned)
6.3 Conduct
Patrons are required to behave in a courteous manner. We have the authority to discontinue a charter without a refund if a patron's behavior is considered a danger to safety or is disruptive to the enjoyment of others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
We limit our liability to the total amount paid for your charter. We are not responsible for:
- Personal injuries due to passenger negligence
- Any loss or damage to personal items
- Indirect, accidental, or exemplary damages
- Delays due to weather or other conditions beyond our regulatory capacity
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Our operations and vessels are covered by comprehensive marine insurance policies. It is the responsibility of passengers to ensure they have appropriate travel and personal insurance coverage.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Engaging with our yacht services signifies that you are aware of the intrinsic hazards associated with marine activities and you assume liability for your safety and welfare.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We have the authority to alter itineraries, travel paths, or timetables according to weather considerations, safety needs, or functional demands. We aim to provide suitable alternative experiences where necessary.
9. Force Majeure
Our responsibilities do not extend to postponements, annulments, or variations induced by events outside our control, including, but not limited to:
- Adverse weather
- Natural catastrophes
- Official mandates
- Port obstructions
- Vessel malfunctions
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. By engaging with our service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials on our website, including texts, images, trademarks, and logos, are protected by copyright and trademark regulations and may not be replicated, distributed, or adapted without our express authorization.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are subject to the law of United Kingdom. Any legal issues will be settled in the courts of Southampton, United Kingdom.
